SONY
Pronounced “Sunny”, SONY is an aggregation of the first letters of our names and represents our bright and sunny personalities. We aim to be like rays of sunshine - spreading positivity and a sense of belonging throughout Hwa Chong, as well as brightening the school lives of fellow Hwachies.
Also known as Stephen, he's fun-loving and those who know him well say he's sometimes crazy. He is, however, serious when need be in order to get things done. He strongly believes in the importance of being happy, and wishes to bring that happiness to the people around him too (:
Nicole may seem really quiet and unapproachable but please don't be mistaken! You may recognize her as the one with a peculiar fettish for shoes and nanoblocks, but she is also very keen in participating in council! You can definitely count on her for an fulfilling HC journey ahead!
This is Yinn Ray: a chill, smiley and tall dude who loves meeting new people and believes that life should be led to its fullest. If you see him around in school, don’t be afraid to say hi, or if you need some encouragement, ask him about his math homework!
Penny has an almost unhealthy obsession with bread. Also, she is a lover of all things yellow - Pooh bear, minions, bananas, sunflowers, the song by Coldplay……She hopes to spread joy to those around her and make Hwa Chong a happier place for everyone :)
