Mars
Firstly, Mars is also known as the ‘red planet’, and we believe that ‘red’ represents our firing passion to serve our school.
Secondly, Mars is a planet that belongs to the solar system, and just as with other planets, it supports and is a platform for the unique natural occurrences and life forms. This is similar to how we are part of this whole council and school ‘system’. Yet being part of this ‘system’, we hope to be able to play our part, like a planet to act as a platform for communication (between students and student-teacher) as well as empower and inspire students.
Thirdly, Mars is one of the closest planets to Earth, our home. Thus, this reminds us to never stray too far away from our purpose or our core, and to always remain grounded and close to home.
